Founded in 2010, African Mission Healthcare (AMH) is a non-profit oranization that strategically partners with mission hospitals to support and advance their enduring commitment to provide quality, compassionate care for the hurting and forgotten and to contribute to an improving health system in Sub-Saharan Africa. AMH was looking to engage a consultant architect for Architectural and Engineering Consultancy Services for the design, supervision, and completion of a three housing units scheme at Maingi- Kijabe, Kiambu County - a region characterized by an established town center, several established trading centers and residential settlement areas. The area also features a mixture of mid-density developments and low-density developments in areas away from the town and trading centers. The project comprises family homes for staff at AMH and will be for tenant hire. The units are to be contemporary 4-bedroom + DSQ stand-alone maisonettes with ample compound area.

The AMH housing project is largely anchored on a desire to build spaces that are supportive, inclusive, and give dignity to all. Hence, all of units within the scheme are offered below market rent while staying undifferentiated from market housing.
